Offices will be closed to the public between Dec. 23, 2024, and Jan. 3, 2025 - Merry Christmas!

Academic Credentials for Undergraduate Admission

Transcripts submitted by international students will be reviewed by the Credential Evaluation Office, following Andrews University's current country-by-country guidelines. When the Credential Evaluation Office is unable to determine the academic level or articulation of transfer credits, applicants will be advised to submit their transcripts to an external validation service.

Country-by-Country Requirements

Students who meet or exceed the requirements for their country are encouraged to apply. Note that satisfaction of minimum academic standards is only one factor in admission decisions. If your country is not listed yet, please contact the Credential Evaluation Specialists.

Advanced Standing May be Available!

Reviewing your country's secondary qualifications could save you time and money:

  • Advanced level grading charts are included.  See the Advanced Level table for details on how many transfer credits may be earned.
  • Other prior learning credit options, such as AP, IB, Cambridge Pre-U and CLEP may also be awarded transfer credits.
  • As each country may revise curriculum at any time, Andrews University reserves the right to update country-by-country requirements at any time.
